  • Outside CO2 Sales Representative
  • Outside Medical Sales Representative
  • Class B Driver With HazmatClass B Hazmat Delivery DriverWe require our drivers to demonstrate a very high level of customer service, integrity and safety. Our drivers are responsible for local routes that are typically 60 miles from our distribution center. We will train the right individual. Endorsements are a plus but not mandatory upon hire. Endorsements must be acquired within the 90 introductory period. This position will require a one week on call rotation, every four weeks.

    Essential functions:

    • Must be able to pass tests to gain proper endorsements within 90 days
    • Driver provides high level of integrity and safe handling while delivering hard goods and compressed gases
    • Maintain routes laid out by supervisor
    • Communicate effectively with team members and customers
    • Strives to find new ways to maintain productivity
    • Complies with all DOT and OSHA regulations on and off the road
    • Accurately maintains all mandatory records required by Geer Gas and DOT
    • Conducts daily pre-trip inspections and post trip with detailed explanations
    • Auditing of cylinders at customers locations
    • Identifies and reports truck maintenance
    • Accurately records daily cylinders by size, product, and quantities
    • Accepts feedback from team members
    • Must be able to lift 75+ lbs
    • Secure Cargo prior to deliveries and during transit
    • Must be a team player
    • Must have consistent positive attitude
    • Maintain appropriate driver’s license and DOT Medical card
    • Driver understands their role is not limited to the above mentioned items
    • Qualifications Required
    • Must pass drug test, background check and physical
    • No preventable accidents in the last three years
    • No DUI in the last seven years
    • No more than two minor moving violations in the last three years
    • No serious violations in the last three years (reckless driving, speeding 15+)
    • No suspensions in the last three years
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Must be able to work occasional overtime if necessary
    • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
    • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Class B CDL
    • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR expectations)
    • 1 year experience driving commercial vehicle or diploma from an accredited truck driving school required within the last four years.
    • Hazmat endorsement
    • Experience in the specialty gas field

Outside CO2 Sales Representative

We require our Sales team to demonstrate a very high level of customer service, integrity and energy. Our sales people are responsible for a local territory that is typically 60 to 80 miles from the distribution center. They are required to serve existing customers and prospective customers by selling CO2, products and equipment to bars, restaurants, breweries and home brewers.

Essential Functions

  • Identify and prospect new customers
  • Represent the companies culture and values by providing superior service standards
  • Demonstrate products, features and benefits to customers through education
  • Increase margins profits and sales within market and territories
  • Keep managers informed of sales win and loses
  • Act as a resource for all team members
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and spreadsheets to solidify new accounts
  • Qualify customers based on volumes of CO2 usage
  • Prepare pricing and credit terms for new accounts
  • Will collect outstanding balances for accounts
  • Present spreadsheets for all stops and contacts made during the week for sales meeting
  • Build a solid knowledge of our distribution for our customer base
  • Solicit orders via phone and cold calling, knocking on doors and emailing
  • Coordinate customer training
  • Assists with quarterly inventory
  • 75% local travel
  • Qualify customers based on volumes of CO2 usage

Qualifications Required

  • One year or more experience in outside sales
  • Energetic self-starter that works as a team player
  • Proven track record of increased sales
  • Successful in prospecting new customers
  • Possess and outgoing, friendly personality
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, percentages and volume.
  • Must have valid driver’s license

 

    • Must pass drug test, background check and physical
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, clients, vendors, managers or employees of organization

 

  • No DUI in the last seven years
  • No more than two minor moving violations in the last three years
  • No serious violations in the last three years (reckless driving, speeding 15+)
  • No suspensions in the last three years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales leader who has experience in foodservice, hospitality or specialty gas industry

Outside Medical Gas Sales Representative

 

We require our Sales team to demonstrate a very high level of customer service, integrity and energy. Our sales people are responsible for a local territory that is typically 60 to 80 miles from the distribution center. They are required to serve existing customers and prospective customers by selling medical oxygen, Nitrous oxide and liquid nitrogen. If you have experience in a medical field, specialty gases, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, Vet Assistant or the any medical industry we may have a home for you.

Essential Functions

  • Identify and prospect new customers
  • Represent the companies culture and values by providing superior service standards
  • Demonstrate products, features and benefits to customers through education
  • Increase margins profits and sales within market and territories
  • Keep managers informed of sales win and loses
  • Act as a resource for all team members
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and spreadsheets to solidify new accounts
  • Qualify customers based on volumes of Oxygen, Nitrous or Liquid Nitrogen usage
  • Prepare pricing and credit terms for new accounts
